The Kennedy brothers Robert F. Kennedy (1925 - 1968), John F. Kennedy (1917 – 1963) and Edward “Ted” Kennedy (1932 – 2009) in Palm Beach, Florida, 1957
So sad. I had a poster in college of the three of them in Hyannisport in 1963, I think. It was black and white, and there was a sort of air of tragedy about the whole thing. I really wished he’d at least been able to see some movement on health care.

Not a fan of the hot nights we’re having.
Don’t even get me started. All my nights are hot, and in precisely the wrong way, too.

This is where I've been working -

(to the extent that I’ve been working)

Jittery Joe’s Roasting Company. Tin-roofed warehouse with random smattering of chairs and tables, and bikes hanging and standing, to be sold. Also bike frames, bike tires, etc. And half of it is filled with roasting machinery. Smells great.

coveted:
sweet calendar that keeps time based on how much ink has been absorbed into a strip of absorbant paper. the strip of paper is shaped into the numbers of the calendar, and is porous enough to move the ink through each number on the proper day. I really love how this gives a more observable & tangible feeling of time passing.

"Apetite"

Prefab Sprout: Steve McQueen

Another of my go-to bands that is secretly Brittish, like Belle and Sebastian. Am I just unable to hear accents in sung vocals? Or are they trying to minimize their accent?
